So we brought in many different companies for our dream backyard plan! From the moment they came in to speak about our plans, we knew Metamorphosis would be the company that would make our dream come true. From every single phase of the project (initial consultation through the final wheelbarrow of mulch), they were there making sure everything was to our liking and done correctly.

They were there the day the pool company started their dig (Arthur Edwards Pools). They marked out the pool as we had planned. The patio was done perfectly using Cambridge XL smooth pavers, bullnosing around the pool, an interior and exterior border. All done to perfection. Like any big project you have to be prepared to spend money, have delays and most likely go over budget. Jason was straight forward with everything from the start and worked with me to satisfy my needs within my budget.

This was one of my dream projects so I was picky and precise in what I wanted. If I had any concerns Jason was always willing to address them and make necessary adjustments to fit both our working budgets. In the end you have to trust the process, these guys know what they are doing!

Metamorphosis transformed my yard into something I was embarrassed of to something out of a magazine. It was a total transformation. My yard needed a retaining wall, 60-70 yards of fill/soil, pavers, plantings, beds, lighting, fencing etc. The crews (masonry/landscaping) were true artists and their attention to detail was outstanding. They were very clean, professional and punctual.

I used Metamorphosis Landscape Design after a painstakingly long process to choose a company to do a major redesign on my backyard. The work included putting in an outdoor kitchen, a number of patios, a 16 step stairway to an elevated pool deck with waterfall and fire pit with all the surrounding plantings. The work was fabulous. We do a tremendous amount of entertaining the backyard and the most frequent comment we hear is “why would you go on vacation, when you can just walk out your back door.
Jason and his crew were professional, responsive, meticulous and exhibited beautiful craftsmanship throughout the process. They even submitted our project for an award, which they ended up winning a major Long Island Landscape award for.

The way to tell a great company is after the job is completed and you have made the last payment. Jason and Chris did a great job transforming our backyard into a beautiful living space, complete with decking patio and water feature.

The job was competitively priced and they always responded to my needs in a professional and timely manner.

Their work is meticulous. They are professional and reliable. Jason was in touch with us daily. If he was not on site he was very easily accessible. Any issues, such as something we were not fond of, were handled immediately. We had originally had blue stone, but removed it when it did not look exactly how we envisioned.

Chris worked very well with us on the foliage and masonry layouts. We were able to incorporate some plants we really like from my father. They also gave us tips on how to maintain the plant life and prepare them for the seasonal changes.

They are not your typical contractors. We ate breakfast with them every morning and are still in touch with them to this day. We have a great relationship with them. They seem more like friends at this point, which is testament to their customer service.

I have hired Metamorphosis Landscape Design twice in the last two years for two separate projects. They first did some masonry work around my pool and later came back for plant life design.

Our pool contractor gave us the name of three Landscape Designers. We chose Metamorphosis based on their unique design. They were very respectful of us and our property. We had great experience with them, despite one small issue. We had shrubbery die and they replaced some of it, but it was too late for some of the others to be replanted.

First class operation …. Jason and his team did a fantastic job on our pool patio.

I usually never have good luck with people working at my house, but Jason and his crew were amazing. We went back and forth with them a couple of times and they had some good ideas. Jason planed a complete patio, stairs, outdoor kitchen, waterfall. everything thought out plumbing, electric, underground conduit for future electric, sprinkler lines, etc.

For almost three weeks his men showed up at 7:00 am and worked till dark 6 days a week till the project was complete. When I had a concern about something or though it might look better a different way they quickly addressed it, even it meant extra work for them. We really are happy with our new backyard and look forward to the summer ahead.
